Report: Trail Blazers’ Anfernee Simons agrees to four-year, $100M contract extension

Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons agreed to a four-year, $100-million contract extension on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Simons, 23, took a big step forward in the 2021-22 season, averaging 17.3 points and 3.9 assists, albeit in a limited 57 game sample size.

The Trailblazers finished with a 27-55 record in 2021-22, landing them at 13th place in the NBA’s Western Conference.
