The Washington Wizards and free agent guard Delon Wright have agreed upon a two-year, $16 million contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

The details of the deal were provided by Wright’s agent Greg Lawrence.

The 30-year-old was drafted into the NBA back in 2015 when he was picked in the first round (20th overall) by the Toronto Raptors. Wright spent his first four seasons with the Raptors but, in the five seasons since, has rotated through five different teams.

Most recently, Wright spent the 2021-2022 season with the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 4.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game. He shot 37.1 per cent from 3-point range.
