The 41-year-old has been an assistant in Denver since 2017. Adelman also spent the 2016-17 season as assistant with the Orlando Magic.

Adelman started his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves as a player development coach and an assist from 2011-2015.

He is the son of former NBA coach Rick Adelman.

The Raptors have also reportedly shown interest in a variety of assistants, as well as Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon.
