Kurtis Rourke's dream season just keeps getting better.
The Indiana Hoosiers quarterback was named one of five finalists for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award on Thursday.
The award is presented to the NCAA's top senior or upperclassman quarterback set to graduate with their class.
Rourke, from Oakville, Ont., will battle Miami's Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart of Ole Miss, Shedeur Sanders of Colorado and Oregon's Dillon Gabriel for the award. The winner will be named Dec. 6.
Rourke, who transferred to Indiana from Ohio for his final year of eligibility, has led the upstart Hoosiers to a school-best 10-0 start and a No. 5 ranking in the latest CFP rankings.
Rourke has completed 71.8 per cent of his passes for 2,410 yards. He has thrown for 21 touchdowns and just four interceptions.
The Hoosiers are on a bye week before they go to Ohio State for a huge Big Ten showdown next week. Indiana needs a win to keep its hopes alive for an improbable Big Ten title.
Washington Commanders rookie star Jayden Daniels won the Golden Arm Award last year at LSU.
Previous winners include Joe Burrow, Andrew Luck, Eli Manning and Peyton Manning.
