Canadian offensive lineman Albert Reese IV is off to a great start in his draft year.
The Edmonton native, who is playing right tackle for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, has been named to the Pro Football Focus NCAA football team of the week for Week 2.
The six-foot-seven, 330-pound Reese helped Mississippi State upset No. 12 Arizona State 24-20 on Saturday.
Reese was ranked fifth by the CFL Scouting Bureau for next year's CFL Draft, while he also is trying to open eyes on the NFL side. He started his team's season opener at left tackle before moving to the right side in the Bulldogs' 34-17 win over Southern Miss.
Reese, 23, won the Kent Hull Trophy last year as the top NCAA offensive lineman in Mississippi when he played 10 of 12 games at right tackle.
Mississippi State, which plays in the powerful SEC, continues its non-conference schedule this coming Saturday against visiting Alcorn State.
