The defending Super Bowl champions will have a stiff challenge in their home opener while Russell Wilson makes his return to Seattle in Week 1 of the 2022 NFL regular season.

The league announced all 32 team schedules during a prime time special Thursday.

After each team plays three pre-season contests, the regular season will get underway with the Buffalo Bills visiting the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 8. The game will see the Rams celebrate their championship win against a Super Bowl favourite, the Bills, who now employ former Ram Von Miller.

Week 1 will end with Wilson and his new teammates with the Denver Broncos visiting his old team, the Seattle Seahawks, on Monday Night Football. The Seahawks traded the star quarterback to Denver this off-season after 10 seasons, highlighted by a Super Bowl win over the Broncos in 2013.
