The San Francisco 49ers appear to be getting healthier heading into Week 4.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan announced Friday that tight end George Kittle and quarterback Brock Purdy have been cleared to play Sunday against the Patriots. Additionally, receiver Deebo Samuel and tackle Trent Williams are questionable for the game.
Kittle missed last week's game against the Rams with a hamstring injury. Purdy played against the Rams but was slowed by a back issue during the week.
Samuel has missed two games with a calf strain but re-joined the team for practice this week. Williams missed practice this week due to an illness.
It wasn't all good news for the 49ers, however. Shanahan also announced that backup linebacker Curtis Robinson has a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.
