Allen was in a walking boot after an overtime loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
The Bills (7-6) are in a tight battle for an AFC wild-card spot after losing the last two games.
Meanwhile, Bills coach Sean McDermott said left tackle Dion Dawkins has tested positive for COVID-19.
Dawkins was in hospital for several days after contracting the virus in training camp.
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (knee) will be out on Sunday, while defensive tackle Star Lotulelei (toe) and running back Taiwan Jones (knee) are questionable.
