Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott says wide receiver Cole Beasley is week-to-week with a leg injury.
Beasley, 31, recorded three receptions for 17 yards on Monday night against the Patriots before leaving the game in the second half. A timeline for Beasley’s return to the field outside of “week-to-week” is unclear, as is his potential status for the Bills’ wild-card game in Buffalo the first weekend of the playoffs.
Beasley has had a career season as a key part of the Bills’ dangerous passing offence, recording career-highs in catches (82) and yards (967) while also finding the end zone four times.
The Bills have also been without receiver John Brown, who was removed from injured reserve on Monday only to be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. A timetable for Brown’s return is also unclear.
Buffalo hosts the Miami Dolphins in Week 17. The Bills have nothing to gain outside of playoff seeding, while the Dolphins need a win to advance to the post-season.
