The Buffalo Bills lost their top target on Sunday.
DJ Moore left the Bills' 29-26 loss to the New England Patriots with a shoulder injury, was ruled doubtful by the team and ultimately did not return.
The veteran receiver had one catch for 11 yards before exiting. He landed hard on his left shoulder while attempting to catch a ball on the sideline and was in the blue medical tent for an extended period of time before heading to the locker room.
Moore injured the same shoulder during the Bills' Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions.
The 29-year-old had 11 catches for 167 yards and one touchdown over the first three games of the year after being traded from the Chicago Bears to Buffalo in the off-season.
Moore's injury opened up an opportunity for Bills receiver Keon Coleman, who had season highs across the board with six catches, 116 yards and a touchdown.
