The Denver Broncos have postponed the team's Friday practice after learning of a player testing positive for COVID-19.

The team says in a statement that the positive player and two other players who have been identified as close contacts are self-isolating at home.

Denver decided to postpone practice "as a precaution" and will conduct virtual meetings on Friday. The Broncos are scheduled to return to their training facility for practice on Saturday.

The Broncos are set to host AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in Denver.
