The Arizona Cardinals will be looking for a seventh straight win to open their NFL campaign when they host the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon as massive 17.5-point favourites on the NFL odds for Week 7 at sportsbooks monitored by

Arizona cruised to a lopsided 37-14 win over the Cleveland Browns last weekend that leaves it as the NFL's lone undefeated team heading into Sunday's matchup at State Farm Stadium.

The Cardinals have steamrolled opponents during their hottest start since opening the 2014 season on a 9-1 straight-up run, claiming victory by an average margin of 14.2 points per game. Arizona has also covered the spread at betting sites in five of its six outings, including each of its past four games. The Cardinals sport +6500 odds to complete the regular season with a 17-0 record, but continue to sit just off the pace at +850 on the Super Bowl odds.

Fresh off a crushing 31-3 loss in Indianapolis, the Texans have dropped five straight overall. Houston has posted victories in just two of 12 road dates since the end of the 2019 regular season, with those wins coming against lightweight opponents in Jacksonville and Detroit.

Elsewhere on the Week 7 NFL odds, the Los Angeles Rams will try to keep pace with the Cardinals in the race for top spot in the NFC West when they play host to the winless Detroit Lions as 15-point chalk. The Rams have also enjoyed a fast start, with their lone defeat coming at the hands of the Cardinals.

Sunday's contest at SoFi Stadium marks the first time that quarterback Matthew Stafford will face his old Lions teammates, who have endured bad play and bad luck during an 0-6 SU start that extends their current overall losing streak to 10 games. With a challenging schedule awaiting them, the Lions have emerged as a +850 wager to go winless during the regular season for the second time since 2008, and the third time in franchise history.

And injuries could play a major role when the Week 7 schedule kicks off on Thursday night, with the Browns hosting the Denver Broncos as fading two-point chalk. Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) will be replaced by backup Case Keenum for the game, while running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt will both miss the matchup with calf injuries.

For the Broncos, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is nursing a foot injury but is still expected to start. The Broncos have dominated Cleveland, going 8-1 SU in nine meetings since 2000.

Sunday night's game this week has the San Francisco 49ers taking on the Indianapolis Colts as 4-point home favourites, while the Monday night matchup sees the Seattle Seahawks hosting the New Orleans Saints as 5-point underdogs. Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson remains out of action with a hand injury, with backup Geno Smith taking snaps in his place.
