As Chase Claypool said, his reaction is everything.

When the Steelers' rookie saw a TikTok video of a 76-year-old lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan who was recently diagnosed with dementia, the Abbotsford, B.C., native decided to send him a signed jersey.

"I hope this jersey can create a long lasting memory for you and your father," Claypool wrote in his TikTok reaction video. "God bless you and your family and go Steelers!"

The video showed Claypool holding up the jersey in preparation of signing it, his handwritten message to the fan and later showed him taking the jersey to a courier service to be shipped.

The fan was overwhelmed when he received the jersey and got emotional as he read Claypool's message to him: "Jimmy! Thank you for being a lifelong Steelers fan! From: Chase. Steeler Nation!"

The 22-year-old later tweeted, "His reaction is everything," in response to seeing the new video.

Claypool has had an excellent start to his NFL career with the undefeated Steelers. In six games so far this season, Claypool has 18 receptions for 333 yards, 21 rushing yards and six touchdowns.
