Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been ruled out of the Thursday Night Football matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Taylor twisted his ankle during the Colts' loss to the Tennessee Titans and wore a boot on his leg during Tuesday's practice session.

Originally, Taylor had told reporters, "I definitely do plan to play, but if you can't go you can't go."

This season Taylor has compiled 328 yards and one touchdown on the ground, being held under 80 yards in three straight games and is averaging a full 1.5 yards less per carry than in 2021.
