Three weeks after dislocating his left elbow, Jayden Daniels is back.
The Washington Commanders quarterback will start on Sunday against the New York Giants, the team announced on Friday.
Daniels is expected to play with a brace on his left arm to protect himself from further injury. This was the second time Daniels has dislocated the same elbow, last doing so halfway through last season.
The Commanders went 1-1 without Daniels, using Marcus Mariota as the starting quarterback. However, Mariota suffered an MCL sprain in Washington's Week 4 loss.
Daniels has completed 56.9 per cent of his passes this season and has thrown for 260 yards through a game and a half. He’s also rushed for 100 yards on 12 carries.
The Commanders are last in the NFC East at 1-3.
