The Dallas Cowboys have acquired DT Eli Ankou from the Houston Texans, the team announced Monday.
Terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed.
Ankou, 26, has registered 26 tackles and three sacks in 20 NFL games for three different clubs.
The Ottawa, Ont., native spent training camp with the Cleveland Browns this season before being waved prior to the beginning of the season. He later spent a month with the Indianapolis Colts then was claimed off waivers by the Texans.
