The Dallas Cowboys and linebacker Anthony Barr have a greed to terms on a one-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.
The deal is reportedly worth up to $3 million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The 30-year-old was previously a member of the Minnesota Vikings, spending his entire eight-year career with the team after being selected ninth overall in the 2014 NFL Draft
The four-time pro bowler has recorded 495 combined tackles, 17.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles and five sacks during his tenure in the league.
Barr joins a Cowboys linebacking corps that includes Leighton Vander Esch and reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year Micah Parsons.
Dallas opened a roster spot by waiving rookie linebacker Aaron Hansford.
