The Miami Dolphins have placed running back Myles Gaskin on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Gaskin made his return from the injured reserve in Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals, rushing for 90 yards on 21 carries while adding two receptions for 51 yards. In eight games this season, the 23-year-old has 477 rushing yards, two touchdowns and 249 receiving yards.
With backup running back Matt Breida also on the reserve/COVID list and Salvon Ahmed dealing with a shoulder injury, DeAndrew Washington and Patrick Laird will likely split the duties in the backfield. The team has also brought up running back Elijah McGuire from the practice squad.
