A pair of NFC East rivals looking to overcome woeful starts clash this week on Thursday Night Football as the Philadelphia Eagles host the New York Giants as 4.5-point favourites on the Week 7 NFL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Philadelphia is coming off a narrow 30-28 loss to Baltimore last weekend, and has lost ground at the sportsbooks since opening as a 6.5-point favourite for Thursday night's matchup at Lincoln Financial Field.

Now sporting a dismal 1-4-1 straight-up record, the Eagles have managed to cover the spread in two of their past three outings. However, Philadelphia has been a disappointment in recent contests while pegged as home chalk, going 0-2-1 SU in its past three such outings and covering just three times at online betting sites in 16 games since October 2017.

New York sits as a +200 underdog on the moneyline for Thursday after escaping with a narrow 20-19 win over Washington last Sunday while favoured by 1.5 points.

However, New York has claimed outright victory just once in its last nine road dates. Despite their struggle to find the win column, the Giants have steadily paid out on the road, covering in 15 of their past 18 contests away from MetLife Stadium. New York has also produced ATS wins on four occasions during its current seven-game SU slide against the Eagles, including a 3-0 ATS run in Philadelphia.

The NFC East action continues on Sunday as the Dallas Cowboys visit Washington in a matchup set as a pick'em on the NFL odds. The Cowboys opened as 3-point road favourites for the contest, but have seen the odds swing heavily in Washington's favour in the wake of a crushing 38-10 loss to Arizona on Monday Night Football.

Dallas sorely misses injured quarterback Dak Prescott, whose early-season exploits often masked the deficiencies of a woeful Cowboys defence that has surrendered a league-worst 36.3 points per game. Not surprisingly, the Cowboys have emerged as a risky wager after opening the season on an 0-6 ATS run.

With last Sunday's loss to the Giants, Washington has now lost five straight SU since opening the season with a 27-17 win over Philadelphia, and has averaged just 20 points per game during a 0-3 SU and ATS run against the Cowboys.

Elsewhere on the NFL Week 7 odds, the Green Bay Packers look to bounce back from last week's stunning 38-10 loss in Tampa Bay as they visit the Houston Texans as slim 3-point favourites. And fresh off a shaky performance in Monday's 26-17 loss to Kansas City, the Buffalo Bills battle the winless New York Jets as heavy 13.5-point road chalk.
