PHILADELPHIA ā Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was questionable to return after he left Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams in the first quarter with an apparent hamstring injury.
Barkley was later ruled out for the remainder of the game, the Eagles announced.
Barkley was hurt on a six-yard run in the first quarter and hobbled over to the Eagles sideline. Barkley grabbed his right hamstring as trainers walked with him to the blue tent.

The 29-year-old had 10 total yards on three touches before leaving the game, and has 180 yards and zero touchdowns so far this season.
Barkley also had an underwhelming campaign last year, but led the NFL with 2,005 rushing yards in 2024.
The former second-overall pick has been durable throughout his career, playing in 62 of 68 games over the last four years. Barkley was rested in the final game of each of the last two seasons.
Backup Tank Bigsby stands to receive most of the touches out of the Eagles' backfield with Barkley sidelined.
Barkley's absence would be another setback to an Eagles team that played Sunday without six starters.
Offensive lineman Lane Johnson was a late scratch for personal reasons. The Eagles already had ruled out wide receiver DeVonta Smith with a hamstring injury and linebacker Zack Baun, who has a concussion and also missed practice this week.
Tight end Dallas Goedert, left guard Landon Dickerson and safety Marcus Epps also sat out with injuries.
