Pro Bowl defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and starting running back Miles Sanders are among nine Philadelphia Eagles who have been ruled out of Sunday night’s game against the Washington Football Team.
Other starters out for the game include wide receiver DeSean Jackson, tight end Dallas Goedert, defensive end Derek Barnett and left tackle Jordan Mailata.
The division showdown means nothing to Philadelphia but has big implications for Washington, which clinches the NFC East title and a playoff berth with a win on Sunday night.
If Washington is unable to beat a very short-handed Eagles team, the winner of Sunday afternoon’s tilt between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys will be crowned NFC East champions.
