The New York Giants have hired Joe Schoen to be their new general manager, the team announced Friday.
Schoen was previously with the Buffalo Bills as assistant GM. He was with the team for the last five seasons.
New York's previous general manager, Dave Gettleman, retired on Jan. 10 following a 4-13 season. The Giants fired head coach Joe Judge on Jan. 11 and are still looking to fill the position.
New York was also considering Adam Peters and Ryan Poles as potential candidates, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Giants haven't won more than six games in a season since 2016.
