The New York Giants have lost another key player to a season-ending injury.
Pass rusher Brian Burns suffered a torn ACL and will have surgery, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed on Monday.
Burns suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 12-7 win over the Tennessee Titans.
Burns immediately grabbed at his right leg and limped off after trying to shed a block from offensive lineman Austin Schlottmann.
Burns ranked second in the NFL in sacks last season with 16.5, behind Myles Garrett. His loss is a massive blow to a Giants defence that has just one sack this season.
