NFL Sunday according to Twitter: Bills QB Josh Allen simply unstoppable

Here's what you need to know from Week 5 in the NFL, where 44-year old Tom Brady tossed 5 TDs for 400+ yards for the first time in his career, Justin Herbert puts up monster numbers again, and the Giants lost both Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones.

No one could stop Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills Sunday night -- not even Mother Nature.

The big question heading into Sunday's highly anticipated showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs was whether Allen could out-duel Patrick Mahomes in this meeting of two of the league's best young quarterbacks.

A lengthy lightning-induced weather delay at halftime made us wait, but the answer felt pretty clear from the start: This is Allen's time to shine.

Allen threw, ran, and full-on hurdled his way to a statement victory, while Buffalo's defence proved more than capable of containing the previously-uncontainable Mahomes-led Chiefs offence.

Elsewhere around the league, we were treated once again to a series of tight games with the most dramatic of finishes -- none more fun than the Chargers' high-scoring showdown against the Browns... and none more puzzling than the frenzy of missed field goals between the Packers and Bengals.

Here's a recap of the action -- and reaction -- according to Twitter:

Falcons 27, Jets 20

Patriots 25, Texans 22

Vikings 19, Lions 17

(Multiple tweets required for this one... and yes, the all-caps are definitely necessary.)

Eagles 21, Panthers 18

Saints 33, Washington 22

Titans 37, Jaguars 19

Buccaneers 45, Dolphins 17

Packers 25, Bengals 22 (OT)

Steelers 27, Broncos 19

Bears 20, Raiders 9

Chargers 47, Browns 42

Cowboys 44, Giants 20

Cardinals 17, 49ers 10

Bills 38, Chiefs 20
