NFL Sunday according to Twitter: Packers' loss has Jeopardy! jokes flying

Here's what you need to know from Week 1 in the NFL, where Patrick Mahomes led a Chiefs comeback vs. the Browns, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers were completely shut down by the Saints, and Trevor Lawrence and the NFL rookie QBs all made their debuts.

The first Sunday of the 2021 NFL season is officially in the books, and everything went exactly as planned…

The Texans are atop the AFC South, the Eagles’ offence lit up the scoreboard, reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers guided the Packers to a whopping three points against the Saints, and the Lions had San Francisco sweating.

Yup, a totally normal Sunday.

But that was fun, wasn’t it?

The return of Football also marks the return of the Football Twitter, which – depending on your fandom on any given Sunday – can also be a pretty fun place filled with interesting stats, funny takes, instant access to the funniest, oddest, and most incredible moments from games around the league.

With that in mind, we’re recapping Sunday’s events through the lens of Football Twitter with a tweet (or two!) that captures the action -- and reaction -- of each game on Sunday’s schedule.
