The New England Patriots are expected to have starting quarterback Mac Jones back on the field for their Monday Night Football matchup against the Chicago Bears according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The 24-year-old has missed the last three games with a high left ankle sprain which he suffered against the Baltimore Ravens back in Week 3. The Patriots quarterback was listed as questionable for Monday's game after he was a limited participant in practice.
Jones has thrown for 768 yards, two touchdowns, and five interceptions with a 1-2 record to start the season. The team had to turn to third-stringer Bailey Zappe, who took over for Brian Hoyer after he was placed on injured reserve with a concussion, earning back-to-back wins over the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns.
Here is a look at some notable actives and inactives across the NFL for Week 7.
Baltimore Ravens: Tight end Mark Andrews and wide receiver Rashod Bateman will be active against the Browns. Andrews was questionable with a knee injury and is an important part of the Ravens offence leading the eam with 39 catches for 455 yards and five touchdowns. Bateman suffered a foot injury in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills that kept him sidelined for two games.
Carolina Panthers: In their first game without Christian McCaffrey, Canadian Chuba Hubbard will take over as the lead running back on the depth chart while D'Onta Foreman will be his backup. Cornerback Donte Jackson (ankle) will suit up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while cornerback Jaycee Horn won't be able to go with a rib injury.
Detroit Lions: Running back D'Andre Swift is inactive against the Dallas Cowboys after being limited all week with shoulder and ankle injuries.
Green Bay Packers: Left tackle David Bakhtiari won't be in the lineup against Washington as he continues to deal with a knee injury. Sammy Watkins will make his return after being sidelined with a hamstring injury that forced him to go on IR.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Wide receiver Marvin Jones will be able to play despite dealing with a hamstring injury.
Las Vegas Raiders: NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says there is optimism wide receivers Mack Hollins (heel) and Hunter Renfrow (hip) will play against the Houston Texans. Both will go through pre-game workouts to see if they can play.
Los Angeles Chargers: Wide receiver Keenan Allen wants to see how he feels when he goes on the field for pre-game workouts to see if he can play through his ailing hamstring injury. With the Chargers on a bye next week, Allen would get to additional weeks to rest if he doesn't play according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Seattle Seahawks: Wide receiver Tyler Lockett is expected to play against the Chargers after being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, according to Schefter.
Washington Commanders: Wide receiver Jahan Dotson won't play Sunday versus the Packers after re-injuring his hamstring injury. Head coach Ron Rivera told NFL Network's Stacey Dales that he would be a long-shot to play.
Dotson had already missed the last two games with the injury and aggravated it during Thursday's practice. The Commanders were already without quarterback Carson Wentz who was placed on IR with a broken finger and tight end Logan Thomas who is still dealing with a calf injury.
