The Green Bay Packers announced Friday that quarterback Jordan Love and linebacker Krys Barnes have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Players who are sent to the reserve/COVID-19 list have either tested positive for the novel coronavirus or have been in close contact with an infected person or persons. Per the NFL and NFLPA’s policy, the team will not disclose specifics on behalf of either player.
Barnes, an undrafted rookie, started seven of Green Bay’s first eight games this year in part because the Packers have dealt with a handful of injuries at the linebacker position. He played in Thursday’s win against the 49ers, but left early with a calf injury.
Love, a first-round pick this past April, has yet to see the field for the Packers.
