It doesn't look like the Baltimore Ravens will have Lamar Jackson for a must-win game.
The star quarterback (back) was listed as doubtful on Thursday for Saturday night's game in Green Bay against the Packers.
Jackson is dealing with a back injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots. Jackson had an MRI earlier in the week that revealed no damage beyond a "significant contusion." He has not practised all week.
The two-time MVP sustained a back bruise in the second quarter of the Ravens' 28-24 loss. After being kneed by safety Craig Woodson just after the two-minute warning, Jackson handed the ball off to Keaton Mitchell before shuffling to the sideline during a timeout.
The loss dropped Baltimore (7-8) two games behind first-place Pittsburgh in the AFC North with two games to go. The Ravens would be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss on Saturday.
Tyler Huntley figures to start for Baltimore if Jackson can't go.
Meanwhile, Packers quarterback Jordan Love was listed as questionable after suffering a concussion in last Saturday's loss in Chicago. Also questionable is his backup, Malik Willis (shoulder and illness).
Both quarterbacks were limited in practice on Thursday.
Clayton Tune, on the Packers' practice roster, is Green Bay's third quarterback.
The Packers (9-5-1) need a win to prevent the Bears (11-4) from clinching first in the NFC North.
