Lamar Jackson is back — and just in time.
The Baltimore Ravens quarterback will play in a big-time AFC showdown against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, head coach Jesse Minter announced on Friday.
Jackson has missed the past three games with an ankle injury as backup QB Tyler Huntley led Baltimore to a 1-2 record.
The two-time NFL MVP Jackson had been off to a strong start this season, passing for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception while adding 144 yards and one score on the ground before going down to injury.
Baltimore, which was 3-1 with Jackson in the lineup, is embroiled in a fierce AFC North battle, where it sits last despite a 4-3 record overall.
After the game in Buffalo, the Ravens are quickly back in action with a Thursday night contest at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
