It's Week 4 in the NFL, and the Chicago Bears are already set to start their third different quarterback.
Tyson Bagent will get the nod against the New York Jets, The Athletic's Dan Wiederer reported on Saturday.
Bagent came on in relief in Week 2 when Caleb Williams went down with a hamstring injury, then spent Week 3 in concussion protocol, and was not cleared in time for the Bears' Monday night game against Philadelphia.
Veteran Case Keenum, who led the Bears to a 27-7 win over the Eagles, will back up Bagent on Sunday.
Bagent has not started since the 2023 season, when he made four starts for Chicago. He went 2-2 throwing three touchdowns and six interceptions over five games in all.
