In a game where the winner takes sole possession of the top spot in the NFC North, the Bears will be without two of their key pass catchers.
Chicago has ruled out Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III for Saturday's game against the Green Bay Packers, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.
Odunze was initially listed as active ahead of last week's 31-3 win over the Cleveland Browns, but he aggravated a stress fracture in his foot during pre-game warmups. He was made a late scratch for the game.
Burden was also injured in that same game. He had six catches for 84 yards before exiting with an ankle injury in the third quarter.
Odunze is leading the Bears in receptions (44), receiving yards (661) and touchdowns (6), while Burden, a second-round pick from this past NFL draft, has been a key contributor for the team with 36 receptions, 379 yards and a touchdown.
With the two players out, wide receiver D.J. Moore and tight end Colston Loveland should be expected to pick up some of the load.
