The Cincinnati Bengals will have a new leader of the defence next season.
After finishing the season 9-8, the Bengals have fired defensive co-ordinator Lou Anarumo, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Anarumo has held the position since 2019, but his unit this season struggled mightily. Cincinnati allowed 30-plus points six times, while ranking in the bottom half of the league in both yards and points allowed-per-game.
In games in which the offence eclipsed the 30-point mark, the team finished only 4-4.
In addition to Anarumo, the Bengals also reportedly fired offensive line coach Frank Pollack, linebacker coach James Bettcher and defensive line coach Marion Hobby.
