A familiar face is returning to Orchard Park, N.Y.
The Buffalo Bills re-signed wide receiver Gabe Davis, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday.
Davis, 26, spent the first four seasons of his career from 2020 through 2023 with the Bills before leaving for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent.
However, his time in Duval did not go as planned as he struggled to career lows in catches (20), yards (239) and touchdowns (two) last season.
Davis was released in May just 14 months after signing a three-year, $39 million deal.
Now, he returns to Buffalo, where he'll begin on the practice squad as he continues to recover from a torn meniscus, Schefter reported.
During his four years with the Bills, Davis hauled in 163 catches for 2,730 yards and 27 scores. He particularly shone in the playoffs, racking up 474 yards and six touchdowns in seven games while earning the nickname 'Big Game Gabe.'
