The Miami Dolphins and linebacker Jerome Baker have agreed to a three-year, $39-million contract extension, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

The contract includes $28.4 million in guaranteed money, Schefter adds.

Baker has one year remaining on a four-year, $3.8-million contract he signed after the Dolphins made him a third-round pick in 2018. He will earn $2.433 million this upcoming season, according to Spotrac.com.

Baker has appeared in all 48 games for the Dolphins over the last three seasons, including 37 starts. Last season he had a career-high 7.0 sacks, as well as 70 solo tackles and 11 QB hits.
