Injuries are piling up for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Star running back Saquon Barkley is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams, ESPN's Ian Rapoport reported on Monday.
It is not considered to be a long-term injury, Rapoport added.
Barkley, a 2,000-yard rusher in the Eagles' Super Bowl season of 2024, was hurt on a 6-yard run in the first quarter and hobbled to the sideline. Barkley grabbed his right hamstring as trainers walked with him to the medical tent.
The 29-year-old has rushed for 182 yards through four games this season, but is yet to find the end zone.
A three-time Pro Bowler, Barkley is the latest to join the Eagles' growing list of injuries. Lane Johnson, DeVonta Smith, Zack Baun and Dallas Goedert are a few of the others currently sidelined.
