The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to be without veteran tight end Dallas Goedert for the rest of the month.
Goedert will be placed on the injured reserve due to a knee injury, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported Saturday.
Once placed, Goedert would be eligible to return for the Eagles' regular season finale on Jan. 5 against the New York Giants.
The 29-year-old Goedert sustained the injury during the Eagles' 24-19 win over the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday. He finished the game with three catches for 35 yards and one touchdown.
Goedert has 38 catches for 441 yards and two touchdowns in nine games this season. He missed three games while sidelined with a hamstring injury.
