Running back Leonard Fournette is rejoining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a new three-year contract, according to multiple reports.
The contract will reportedly be worth a maximum of $24 million.
Fournette made the decision to re-join Tom Brady in Tampa after visiting Brady's old team — the New England Patriots — on Monday.
The 27-year-old is coming off a career-season, his second with the Bucs. He ran for 1,266 yards in 2021 — good for sixth among all running backs — and his 4.5 yards per carry were a career-high.
Fournette was also a key player in Tampa Bay's run to the Super Bowl two seasons ago, scoring four touchdowns and rushing for 448 yards in four playoff games.
Before joining the Bucs, Fournette played four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
