Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Veteran backup Colt McCoy will handle duties under centre for the Cardinals on Monday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers.
McCoy will start his second straight game after throwing for 238 yards and one touchdown in a 27-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams in week 10.
The 36-year-old completed 70.3 per cent of his passes in his fourth career start with Arizona.
Monday's NFC West matchup has the 4-6 Cardinals trying to gain ground on the 5-4 49ers.
Murray initially suffered the hamstring injury in week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings before aggravating it against the Seattle Seahawks the following week.
