Washington Football Team linebacker Jon Bostic has been fined $12,000 for his hit to the head on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton, according to ESPN’s Todd Archer.
Dalton left the Week 7 game immediately and did not return, while Bostic was ejected for the play. Rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci took over for Dalton and Washington won 25-3.
Dalton, who walked off the field with help from teammates, was 9-of-19 for 75 yards before being concussed.
DiNucci will start Week 8 in place of Dalton as the Cowboys take on NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
