The New England Patriots are adding some depth to the running back room.
New England has reportedly acquired RB Corey Kiner from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a 2028 seventh-round draft pick, per ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday.
Kiner, 24, joins the Patriots following his first year in the NFL with the Cardinals after going undrafted. The now-sophomore made four appearances in 2025, logging 12 rushing attempts for 58 yards.
The Cincinnati Bearcats product now joins a running back room in New England that includes Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson as the featured backs heading into the season.
Kiner played all four 2026 pre-season games with Arizona, racking up 180 rushing yards (second most in the NFL through the pre-season) and two touchdowns on 39 carries.
