The New England Patriots could get some more help on offence for a divisional matchup.
Wide receiver A.J. Brown is likely to be activated off injured reserve ahead of the Patriots' Week 6 game against the New York Jets, ESPN's Ian Rapoport reported Saturday.
Brown has missed the last four games with a high ankle sprain he suffered during the second half of the Patriots' season-opening loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
The 29-year-old had three catches for 26 yards before he got injured. He joined New England in an off-season trade with the Philadelphia Eagles that saw first- and fifth-round picks go back the other way.
New England will also get a big boost to its secondary with star cornerback Christian Gonzalez coming off the injury report. Gonzalez spent the last two games dealing with a shoulder injury.
