The Cincinnati Bengals are keeping their quarterback duo of Joes.
Joe Flacco, who made six starts for the club last season, is returning on a one-year contract, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler added that the deal is worth $6 million, with a maximum value of $9 million.
The Bengals acquired Flacco from the Cleveland Browns mid-season after struggling to stay afloat without star QB Joe Burrow in the lineup.
Flacco went 1-5 as a starter in Cincinnati, tossing for 1,664 yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions. He threw only two TD passes while turning the ball over six times in four starts with the Browns.
Miraculously, Flacco earned the lone Pro Bowl nod of his 18-year career last season.
The 2025 season also marked the first time since 2017 that the quarterback started double-digit games in a season.
Flacco, a 2008 first-round pick by the Ravens, spent his first 11 years with the team, helping them win Super Bowl XLVII and earning MVP honours.
He was dealt to the Broncos ahead of the 2019 campaign, and has spent time with the Jets, Browns (twice) and Colts before ending up in Cincinnati.
