The Los Angeles Rams have traded wide receiver Robert Woods to the Tennesee Titans for a 2023 sixth-round draft pick, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
The 29-year old California native, drafted in 2013 by the Buffalo Bills, played four seasons with the Rams after they acquired him in 2017. In four seasons, he caught 23 touchdowns and ran for five across 68 games, before tearing his ACL midway through the 2021-22 NFL season.
Prior to his injury, Woods was an important piece to the Rams offence along with Cooper Kupp. The Rams found a replacement in former New York Giants and Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr during the season and have now decided to move on from Woods. The Rams are also reportedly looking to re-sign Beckham Jr. to a contract extension.
