Tight end Rob Gronkowski is sticking with Tom Brady, signing a one-year deal worth up to $10 million deal to return to the Super Bowl-champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Gronkowski came out of retirement to join Brady in Tampa Bay, scoring two touchdowns to help the Buccaneers to capture the Super Bowl. Gronkowski recorded 45 catches for 623 yards and seven touchdowns while playing in all 16 games last season.
The 31-year-old spent the first nine seasons with the New England Patriots before retiring for the 2019 season. The Amherst, N.Y., native has 566 receptions for 8,484 yards and 86 touchdowns in 131 career games.
