Ernest Jones IV is staying in Seattle.
Per NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Seahawks agreed to a three-year, $33 million contract extension with the linebacker on Sunday. The deal includes a reported $15 million guaranteed.
Jones IV now has stability in Seattle after moving around the league last season. The Titans acquired the linebacker last off-season but traded him to the Seahawks after only six games.
In 10 games with Seattle, Jones IV recorded 94 total tackles, .5 sacks and one interception. His 138 tackles between Tennessee and Seattle ranked 13th league-wide.
The 25-year-old is yet another name off the free agent linebacker list. Zack Baun, Nick Bolton and Derrick Barnes all re-signed with their squads before the legal tampering period opens Monday.
