The Seattle Seahawks are onto another running back.
First-round pick Jadarian Price was placed on IR Saturday due to a chest injury sustained in practice, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
The move means Price will miss at least four weeks, starting with Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Price, who was selected 32nd overall in April's draft, has struggled through three weeks for the reigning champions, toting the rock 28 times for just 119 yards. He has yet to score a touchdown.
Earlier this week, the Seahawks designated Zach Charbonnet to return to practice, giving him a three-week window before he must be activated from IR. Charbonnet has been out since tearing his ACL in the divisional round last season.
Kenneth Walker III, who inherited carries with Charbonnet's injury, went on to win Super Bowl MVP but signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in the off-season.
In the meantime, Emanuel Wilson and George Holani are in line to split reps at running back for the Seahawks.
Seattle faces a difficult stretch after the Chargers, with games against the San Francisco 49ers, Denver Broncos and Chiefs consecutively.
Meanwhile, Carolina Panthers receiver Xavier Legette also landed on the IR Saturday due to a knee injury.
Legette has two catches for 64 yards on the season.
