The Seattle Seahawks will likely have their starting quarterback for the divisional round after all.
Sam Darnold is officially active for Saturday's playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers, per the team's pre-game injury report.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier Saturday that his status was in doubt after he injured his oblique at practice on Thursday.
The loss of Darnold would have represented a major blow to the top-seeded Seahawks, who earned a bye through the wild-card round in the NFC.
Darnold has enjoyed a strong first season with the organization, starting all 17 regular-season games while throwing for 4,048 yards, 25 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
The 28-year-old is set to make his second career post-season start after an ugly playoff debut with the Minnesota Vikings last season, in which he managed 245 yards and one touchdown.
Backup Drew Lock, who made just three pass attempts all season, is ready if Darnold is unable to go.
