The Seattle Seahawks reportedly turned down a massive offer from the Chicago Bears, who were hoping to pry star quarterback Russell Wilson to the Windy City.
According to radio host Dan Patrick, Chicago’s package for Wilson included three first-round picks, a third-round pick and two unnamed starters.
Per ESPN‘s Adam Schefter, the Bears were told by the Seahawks that Wilson would not be traded at this point in the off-season.
After striking out on Wilson, Chicago decided to sign former Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton to a one-year, $10-million deal.
Dalton is expected to compete with Nick Foles for the Bears’ starting job.
