The Denver Broncos look to be turning to their head coach to help get their sputtering offence going.
Sean Payton will be far more involved in the offensive play-calling in the Broncos' Week 5 matchup against the Los Angles Chargers on Sunday, ESPN's Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.
Denver, 2-2, has the sixth-worst offence in the league in terms of both yards per game (280.3) and points per game (18.5).
According to Rapoport, Payton, who has historically be hailed as a strong offensive-minded coach, will remain collaborative with Denver offensive co-ordinator Davis Webb. Though Payton will have say, Webb is reported to still be the key voice for the offence on game day and during the week.
