As election officials in Pennslyvania continue to count ballots for the 2020 U.S. presidential election, some Pittsburgh Steelers players have stepped up to support those working long hours for democracy.

On Wednesday, players bought dinner for all the workers at the Allegheny County ballot-counting site in Pittsburgh, ESPN reports, citing a team source.

Pennsylvania is one of the few remaining states that has not yet called a winner in the election. With 20 Electoral College votes, is the largest undeclared state remaining.

This isn't the first time members of the Steelers organization have gotten involved in the local democratic process. Head coach Mike Tomlin and some players were included in a PSA commercial about mail-in voting and the team donated masks to election officials by partnering with local foundation Citrone 33.

"We're professionally focused, but we have been talking continuously about being active participants in the political process and exercising our right to vote," Tomlin said Tuesday, according to ESPN's Brooke Pryor. "It requires no special meeting or no point of emphasis today. We all know what today is."
